To organise and channelise the financial resources of the Government
To ensure that the necessary funds are raised
To see that the Government revenue raised is properly utilised for carrying out the general policies of the Government
To advise the Government in all financial matters
To prepare the annual budget; etc.
To determine the salaries and allowances of the State Government employees and other service matters.
