Interest Rate Reduced

The Government Notification, Finance Department, dated 10.6.2016, has fixed the interest rate at 8.1 percent per annum on the deposits in the General Provident Fund as well as on the deposits and balances of the individuals contributing to the Contributory Provident Fund (Maharashtra) for the period from 1st April, 2016 to 30th June, 2016. The said notification is made available on the website of the Government of Maharashtra under the heading “Laws/Rules” on the home page.
